A Note About Kelly and Petite Style

I wanted to take a moment today to share a personal update with you about Kelly and her Petite Style posts.

Many of you have followed Kelly here on the blog over the years, and I know how much you have enjoyed her perspective. Petite dressing comes with its own set of style questions — proportion, fit, scale, hem lengths, sleeve lengths, and all those little details that can make the difference between an outfit that almost works and one that feels just right.

Kelly brought such a lovely eye to that conversation. Through her weekly Petite Style posts, she shared everyday outfits, practical styling ideas, and her own point of view with warmth, ease, and a sense of real-life style. She helped expand the conversation at Style at a Certain Age, and I know many of you appreciated seeing fashion through a petite lens.

Of course, Kelly has been part of SaaCA in more ways than one. As my daughter-in-law, she has been family first — but she also became an important part of the blog family, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. I am deeply grateful for the time, creativity, organization, and heart she poured into this space over the years.

Kelly is no longer working with SaaCA, so her weekly Petite Style posts will be coming to an end. While I know many of you will miss seeing her here each week, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank her for all she contributed and to honor the role she played in this chapter of Style at a Certain Age.

Since Kelly’s work has always lived here on the blog, I wanted to share this update with you, along with a few favorite Petite Style moments from her time at SaaCA.

Over the years, Kelly’s posts were a wonderful reminder that style is never one-size-fits-all — thank goodness, because where would be the fun in that? Her Petite Style posts offered practical ideas for proportion, fit, and everyday outfits, while also reminding us that the goal is always the same: to feel confident, comfortable, and at home in the clothes we wear.

For those who would like to revisit a few of Kelly’s recent posts, here are several favorites:

I know many of you will miss seeing Kelly here each week, and I will miss her presence on the blog as well. She helped broaden the style conversation at SaaCA and offered a point of view that resonated with so many of our petite readers.

Going forward, we will continue to keep petite styling in mind as we share outfit ideas, shopping finds, and practical style tips. Fashion should meet us where we are — in every size, shape, height, and season of life — and that will always be part of the heart of Style at a Certain Age.

Thank you for supporting Kelly’s contributions over the years and for being part of this community. SaaCA will continue to evolve, as all good things do, while staying rooted in the same mission: helping women age with grace, strength, beauty, and style.
